Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager/Assistant Chief Engineer, based in Morbi. The role involves overseeing the maintenance and operational functions of the hotel's engineering department. Key responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing vendor relationships, and supervising a team of technicians. The Assistant Manager will also coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and enhance guest satisfaction, strategize energy management solutions, and manage the hotel's infrastructure in alignment with company standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong technical skills in HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, mechanical engineering, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in energy management and cost-saving strategies, as well as an understanding of safety and compliance standards.
  • Experience with team management, staff training, and vendor coordination for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Project management skills, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of engineering operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in hotel engineering or a similar role is an advantage.
