Assistant Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, balconies, corridors, and public areas as per Sterling standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Ensure guest rooms are cleaned and ready before check-in.
• Report maintenance issues, lost & found items, or damaged property to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Handle cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, linen rooms, and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and SOP guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Engineering departments for smooth room readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is preferred.
• Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality establishments are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a guest-first attitude.
• Physically fit and willing to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, or hospitality establishments.
• Familiarity with housekeeping SOPs and guest service standards.
