Assistant General Manager

Position Title: AGM – Accounts & Finance

Location: Head Office, New Delhi

CTC: Up to 35 LPA

1. Finalization of Accounts & Financial Reporting

• Preparation and closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts
• Ensuring compliance with Ind AS / applicable Accounting Standards
• Passing provisions, accruals, depreciation, and year-end adjustments
• Preparation of schedules, MIS reports, and financial statements
• Coordination with statutory, internal, and tax auditors
• Handling audit queries and ensuring timely closure

2. Financial Consolidation

• Preparation of consolidated financial statements for group companies
• Inter-company reconciliations and elimination entries
• Alignment of accounting policies across entities
• Review of subsidiary financials for consolidation accuracy
• Preparation of consolidation workings and supporting documentation

3. Direct Taxation

• Computation of income tax, advance tax, and deferred tax
• Handling income tax assessments, notices, and litigation support
• Coordination for tax audits and statutory filings
• Ensuring compliance with Income Tax Act and related regulations
• Supporting tax planning initiatives to optimize liabilities

4. Indirect Taxation (GST & Others)

• Filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) and reconciliations
• Input tax credit management and compliance checks
• Handling GST audits, notices, and departmental communications
• Ensuring accurate tax accounting in books
• Compliance with other applicable indirect tax regulations

Qualification & Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong experience in SAP
• Experience in a corporate / manufacturing setup preferred
