Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Football Coach, based in Kochi. The Assistant Football Coach will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of training programs, coaching sessions, and player development strategies. The role will involve actively engaging with players, mentoring them to improve their skills, and ensuring team performance aligns with organizational goals. Other responsibilities include promoting a positive and inclusive team environment and collaborating with other coaches to implement sports science-driven practices.

Qualifications

• Football Coaching skills with experience in planning and executing game-specific strategies
• Strong Coaching and Training skills with the ability to mentor and guide players of various skill levels
• Thorough knowledge of Football techniques and tactics
• Excellent Communication skills to motivate players and promote team collaboration
• Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive team environment
• Knowledge of sports science principles or analytics is a plus
• Previous coaching experience, preferably in a school or academy setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
