Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Assistant Film Director located in Sholinganallur, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Assistant Film Director will support the planning, directing, and execution of film and video projects. Responsibilities include assisting during filming, collaborating on script development, coordinating production schedules, overseeing video production activities, and supervising post-production processes to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Experience with Film Direction and managing on-set activities
• Proficiency in Scriptwriting and storyboarding
• Skills in Video Production and operating filming equipment
• Understanding of Post-Production processes, including editing and sound design
• Expertise in Film Production, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating crews
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred
