Company Description DINESH ANDANI & CO., established in 2017, is an auditing and consulting firm offering a wide range of professional financial services to companies across industries, organizations, and individuals. The firm provides comprehensive taxation services, including income tax, GST, and TDS/TCS compliance, advisory, and representation. It also delivers auditing and assurance services such as statutory, internal, tax, management, concurrent, and GST audits to support compliance and strengthen business processes. In addition, the firm manages accounting and bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, payroll, and receivables/payables, along with business advisory and consulting services, including business setup and registration support. Team members gain exposure to diverse financial, compliance, and advisory work in a growing professional environment.
Role Description The Assistant will support the firm’s day-to-day audit, taxation, and accounting activities as part of an internship role. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection and documentation for income tax, GST, and other statutory filings, updating accounting records, and helping prepare basic financial statements and reports. The role involves coordinating with senior team members on audit assignments, organizing working papers, and ensuring accurate entry and maintenance of financial and compliance information. The Assistant may also help with business registration processes, maintaining client files, and general office administration. This is an on-site internship role based in Durg, requiring regular presence at the office and collaboration with the team.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation; familiarity with bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
- Interest in taxation and compliance, including income tax, GST, and TDS/TCS, with willingness to learn relevant rules and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; comfort working with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to organize documents and data systematically.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to client and team interactions.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work collaboratively in an on-site office environment.
- Pursuing or having completed studies in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (such as B.Com, M.Com, CA/CS/CMA foundation or intermediate) is preferred.
- Prior internship or project experience in accounting, audit, or tax is beneficial but not mandatory.
