What You Will Be Doing

• Architect comprehensive frameworks for AI-driven systems that automate intricate facets of software development, including architecture generation, dependency management, and advanced predictive coding.
• Immerse yourself in the latest advancements in AI and software engineering through R&D initiatives, conference participation, and active engagement with academic and professional networks. When new AI technology emerges, we must be among the earliest adopters.

• Routine Code Maintenance: Performing regular updates or debugging of existing software code to address minor issues or enhance functionality.
• Standard Software Development: Executing basic coding or software development assignments that involve implementing straightforward features or functionalities without AI integration.
  
  

Artificial Intelligence Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Apply your engineering expertise to achieve substantial increases in development speed, reductions in human error, and enhancements in code quality, resulting in accelerated time-to-market for software products and improved customer satisfaction.
  
  

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-stack software developer (both front-end and back-end coding expertise is required)
• Extensive experience using GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev)
• Prior experience successfully implementing Generative AI products/projects/solutions/tools
• Prior experience utilizing different LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) to address business problems
• An understanding of when and why to select specific LLM models for different tasks
• Demonstrated understanding and previous application of the Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
