AI Engineer (Product-Based Experience Mandatory) Location: Mumbai / Pune (Hybrid) ? Remote option available Experience: 5+ years in product-based companies only ? About the Client Our client is an innovative SaaS product company transforming legal technology through AI-driven automation. They are focused on building scalable products that redefine contract lifecycle management using GenAI, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered intelligence. Role Overview We are hiring an AI Engineer with real-world, product-side experience in building and scaling AI systems. You will work on LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, autonomous workflows, and advanced NLP , building intelligence that can interpret contracts, reason over data, and execute multi-step tasks autonomously. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience working with LLMs. Experience in fine-tuning and prompt engineering. Strong understanding and implementation experience with RAG. Practical Agentic AI expertise with LangGraph or CrewAI or AutoGen. Excellent coding skills in Python. Strong backend/API experience using FastAPI. Experience working with MongoDB. Hands-on experience with Vector Databases. Proven ability to ship GenAI-powered features to production. Experience in product-based companies is a must Candidates without product-based experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Build scalable agentic AI systems capable of autonomous reasoning and task execution Design and deploy RAG-based models and LLM-driven systems for contract analytics Train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs using PEFT, LoRA, embeddings Build NLP pipelines to extract insights from PDFs, scanned documents & legal text Develop multi-agent workflows using modern AI frameworks Manage the end-to-end AI lifecycle ? experimentation, deployment, continuous learning Collaborate with product, legal SMEs, and engineering to deliver AI-first features Ensure explainability, reliability, and trust in AI systems ? Preferred Experience 5+ years in AI/ML engineering. Experience building and deploying AI features in SaaS environments. Solid background with Transformers, HuggingFace, PyTorch/TensorFlow. Experience with Reinforcement Learning (PPO, RLHF/RLAIF) is a plus. Familiarity working with OCR and document intelligence pipelines.
