About The Team

The Individual Marketplace (IM) team supports people in the U.S. who need to purchase health coverage outside employer-based plans. It provides a seamless experience through Via Benefits, combining digital tools with licensed advisors to guide individuals—active employees, retirees, or those unaffiliated with an employer—through important health‑coverage decisions. IM helps employers offer greater choice, predictable costs, and reduced risk while ensuring individuals receive personalized, confidence‑building support throughout key life transitions.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative AI Engineer/Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI Tools, algorithms, Computer Vision, with specialized expertise in generative AI (GenAI), RAG, Agentic AI and large language models (LLMs). This role is crucial for enhancing our daily processes and tooling through AI-driven solutions.

Role

• Optimize and fine-tune existing ML models for improved accuracy, performance, and efficiency
• Prior experience in working with Azure based AI capabilities and Azure AI Foundry
• Design and implement various neural network architectures tailored to specific tasks.
• Process and visualize complex data to extract actionable insights.
• Possess hand-on experience Open AI API integration.
• Enhance natural language processing capabilities to streamline communication and automation.
• Deploy AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.
• Ensure AI security and compliance with industry standards.
• Hands-on Experience in RAG and Agentic AI. Proficient knowledge of Agentic Frameworks.
• Monitor deployed models using Azure Monitor and Azure ML’s model performance tracking.
• Ensure AI solutions align with Microsoft’s Responsible AI principles and security best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering best practices and continuous learning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define AI solution objectives and deliver impactful results
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI. Proficiency in Python and relevant AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, LangChain,Panda etc)
• Ability to incorporate AI models from the initial idea to execution.
• Experience with data engineering tools in Azure, including Data Lake, Databricks
• Specialized knowledge in generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs).
• Specialized and Hands-on knowledge in RAG and Agentic solutions
• Experience in selecting, enhancing and deploying deep learning models
• Knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, or Custom Vision is a strong plus.
• Good understanding about the process of training and testing of models
• Design and implement conversational AI solutions leveraging Azure Bot Services and Azure OpenAI for natural language understanding and generation.
• Adept in natural language processing and AI security.
  
  

Qualifications

BSc/BTech/BE degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
