Role Description The Article Assistant will support the firm’s chartered accountancy and consultancy services through day-to-day work in accounting, taxation, and audit assignments. Responsibilities include assisting in preparation of financial statements and project reports, supporting company formation processes, and helping with VAT/Sales Tax and Income Tax filings. The role also involves working on audit documentation, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with team members to meet client engagement timelines. The Article Assistant will be expected to learn and apply professional standards, follow internal procedures, and contribute to client service delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Connaught Place.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and basic taxation concepts, with the ability to apply them in practical assignments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in audit support activities, including documentation, working paper preparation, and adherence to professional standards.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in common office and accounting software (such as spreadsheets and basic accounting tools) and the ability to manage data accurately.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a professional team and interact with clients as needed.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and an organized approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a chartered accountancy program, or a related commerce/accounting degree, is highly beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn, professional integrity, and the ability to work in a structured, on-site environment at Connaught Place are expected.
