Art Gallery Associate

Job description

Internationally recognized art gallery is seeking a motivated self starter to join their team as an Art Gallery Associate for their New Delhi location.

Position Responsibilities:

-Generate visibility and outreach for the gallery, including expanding the gallery's clientele

-Foster relationships with collectors, advisors, and other arts organizations

-Proficiency in Adobe Suite and ability to generate social media content for the gallery

-Engage gallery visitors, answer queries and organize client requests for viewings

-Oversee sales procedures and documentation

-Assist the Director in implementation of the gallery’s vision

-Will operate as a liaison between the New York and New Delhi gallery

Qualifications

-Minimum 3 years of experience in a gallery setting

-Demonstrable leadership skills and an independent work ethic

-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skill

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Art History. Masters preferred.
