Position: Art Director

Location: Louisville, KY – In-office  

Employment Type: Full-Time

INgrid Design is looking for an experienced Art Director to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a strategic, detail-driven designer who can lead visual direction, collaborate across disciplines, and deliver thoughtful, high-quality work across a range of client engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead visual direction and design execution across print, digital, and experiential projects.
• Develop and maintain visual styles and design systems for client work.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to concept and execute design solutions.
• Present design concepts and final work to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Review and refine work to ensure alignment with project goals and brand standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Four to six years of professional experience in an advertising or design agency.
• Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout, and visual systems.
• Proficiency in full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
• Working knowledge of print production and digital publishing processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Project management experience.
• Brand development or campaign-based creative work.
