Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Karnataka, Mumbai, Kerala India. This role is responsible for managing and expanding sales within the assigned territory, including developing relationships with distributors, retailers, and detailing service providers. Day-to-day tasks include visiting customers, presenting product offerings, negotiating terms, tracking sales performance, and identifying new business opportunities. The Area Sales Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, monitor market trends, and coordinate with internal teams for inventory, pricing, promotions, and customer support. The role also involves preparing regular sales reports, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales, territory management, or area sales, preferably in automotive, or PPR, window Films, Ceramic Coating &related product distribution.
  • Strong skills in relationship management, customer engagement, and account servicing.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales plans, meet targets, and analyze market and competitor activity.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present and explain product benefits clearly.
  • Comfort with on-site work, frequent travel within Karnataka, and managing a structured visit schedule.
  • Basic proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and reporting software for tracking leads and performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Knowledge of the local market and regional languages is an advantage.
