Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager for LAP (Loan Against Property) will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within the Madurai H&S (Home & Small Business) region. This role involves leading and motivating a sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong client relationships to maximize market share and profitability in the LAP segment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets in the Madurai H&S region.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales executives, ensuring their continuous development and high performance.
  • Identify and penetrate new market segments and client bases for LAP products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, real estate agents, direct selling agents (DSAs), and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to LAP sales.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal departments to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
  • Organize and participate in promotional activities, events, and campaigns to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues effectively and promptly.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with LAP products.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the LAP market, product offerings, and regulatory landscape in the Madurai region.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and formulate effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Tamil and English is essential.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Madurai H&S region as required.

Any Graduates
