The Role

We're looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to lead a field sales team, own area sales targets, and fuel market expansion across your territory someone who thrives on building relationships, opening new markets, and coaching a team to hit big numbers.

What You'll Own

🎯 Sales Team Leadership

• Train, guide, and motivate the sales team to hit targets
• Run daily huddles, 1:1s, and performance reviews
• Build a culture of accountability and growth
  
  

📈 Market Execution

• Drive monthly & quarterly sales targets
• Track sales reports and market trends
• Ensure strong beat plan execution and territory coverage
  
  

🤝 Distributor & Retailer Relationships

• Build and nurture relationships with key distributors and retailers
• Join SSEs on field visits for key accounts
• Manage dealership agreements end-to-end
  
  

🚀 Business Expansion

• Acquire new customers and open new retail outlets/dealerships
• Expand into untapped markets and geographies
  
  

💰 Forecasting & Collections

• Ensure timely payment collections
• Deliver a rolling 4-month sales forecast (FMCG + PPP) by the 5th of every month
  
  

What You Bring

✅ Solid understanding of FMCG / distribution sales

✅ A knack for analysis and reporting

✅ Willingness to travel extensively across your territory

Qualifications

🎓 Bachelor's degree (any discipline)

🎓 MBA in Marketing/Sales a strong plus

Experience

🔹 3–4 years in Sales, Distribution, or FMCG/Retail channel management

🔹 Prior Experience Managing Field Sales Teams Preferred
