Role: AREA SALES MANAGER - FARM IoT AUTOMATION
Location: INNOFarms.AI India ( Remote/PUNE)
TERRITORY: Maharashtra, Gujarat
LANGUAGE: Marathi, Hindi, English (ESSENTIAL)
Experience: 2-6 Years in AgriTech / Farm Automation, IoT Equipment Sales; AgriFood Enterprise / B2B AgriTech Sales, AgriTech IoT / AI SaaS Sales.

What you will Sale:
Farm Automation Products & Systems:
→ Farm Intelligence & Automation Suite
And Specialized Small IoT Automation packages such as
→ AIoT based Irrigation automation
→ Fertigation systems
→ Soil monitoring
→ Weather stations
→ Climate control
→ IoT sensors and controllers
→ Intelligence Mobile app-based farm management, Farm & Agronomy AI Assistance
Customer you Interact:
→ High-value horticulture farms (grapes, pomegranate, banana, mango, citrus, strawberry, etc.)
→ Greenhouse/polyhouse operations
→ Vertical farms and controlled environment agriculture
→ Progressive farmers adopting precision agriculture
You'll be responsible for building our business in your Territory :
→ Identify and engage with potential customers in your territory
→ Conduct on-farm demos and technical presentations
→ Understand farmer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
→ Build relationships with agri-input dealers and distributors
→ Generate sales pipeline and close deals
→ Coordinate with the technical team for installations
→ Provide post-sale support and ensure customer success
→ Participate in farmer events, field days, and exhibitions
→ Report on market feedback, competition, and opportunities
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
✓ 3-5 years of field sales experience in AgriTech or AgriInput
✓ Sold products/solutions to farmers (not just distributors)
✓ Understanding of AgriTech IoT and Automation solutions for irrigation, fertigation, or precision agriculture
✓ Proven ability to build farmer relationships and close sales
✓ Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
✓ Own vehicle and valid driver's license
✓ Fluent in Hindi and English
