Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Wheelchair Division
Location: Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara & nearby regions)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales and business growth of wheelchair and mobility solutions across Gujarat. The role involves managing key accounts, developing distributor networks, and achieving sales targets in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and dealer channels.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for wheelchair products.
• Identify new business opportunities in hospitals, clinics, NGOs, and rehabilitation centers.
• Expand dealer/distributor network across Gujarat.
• Drive product penetration and market share in assigned territory.
Key Account Management
• Build strong relationships with hospital purchase departments, physiotherapists, and distributors.
• Manage government and institutional tenders (if applicable).
• Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Promotion & Training
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Organize camps, exhibitions, and awareness programs for mobility solutions.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
Team & Channel Management
• Manage and guide sales executives/field staff (if applicable).
• Monitor distributor performance and ensure stock availability.
• Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, marketing, service).
Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
• Provide feedback to management for product improvements.

Required Qualifications:
• 3–7 years of experience in medical devices / healthcare / mobility aids sales
• Experience in wheelchair / rehabilitation / orthopedic products preferred

• Relationship management with healthcare professionals
• Territory & distributor management

Other Requirements:
• Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat
• Good knowledge of local market and language (Gujarati preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Excel & reporting tools
