We’re Hiring | Architect – Kochi

Monsoon Collective is an architecture and interior design practice focused on climate-responsive homes and buildings. Rooted in the landscapes, climate, and culture of the region, our work responds to rain, light, vegetation, and everyday patterns of use.

We design buildings that work naturally with the climate, remain comfortable without excessive reliance on mechanical systems, and translate clearly from drawings to execution on site. Our approach is simple: start with the site, design for the climate, and carry the intent carefully through design and construction.

Role

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Architect based in Kochi.

The role involves working across design development, coordination, and site execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing architectural designs and drawings
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and site teams
• Leading and managing design tasks within the studio
• Site coordination to ensure design intent is executed accurately
• Managing projects from concept through completion
• Contributing to climate-responsive and sustainable design solutions
• Ensuring timelines, quality, and detailing standards are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience
• Strong design sensibility with practical execution awareness
• Ability to lead design tasks and coordinate across teams
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools
