Position Summary
Atulayam Designs is seeking a skilled and experienced Architect with 3–5 years of professional experience and a strong understanding of architecture, interior design, structural coordination, and execution detailing.
The role involves independently handling architectural and interior design projects from concept to execution, across residential and commercial typologies, including apartments, villas, penthouses, and large-scale commercial or hospitality projects such as 5-star hotels.
The ideal candidate should be capable of producing accurate, execution-ready drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and ensuring design feasibility, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver complete sets of architectural and interior drawings, including:
Layout plans, sections, and elevations
Working and execution drawings
Structural coordination drawings
Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, furniture, false ceiling, and lighting layouts
Independently conceptualize, plan, and design architectural and interior projects for both residential and commercial developments.
Coordinate with structural, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of services into the design.
Collaborate closely with design and site execution teams to ensure design accuracy, feasibility, and on-site implementation.
Conduct site visits for measurements, execution support, and resolution of design or construction-related issues.
Prepare and manage BOQs, budgets, cost planning, sourcing, and coordination with vendors and contractors.
Present designs, drawings, and concepts effectively to clients and internal teams.
Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
3–5 years of professional experience in architectural and interior design projects (residential and commercial).
Strong understanding of structural systems, construction methodologies, and MEP coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
Familiarity with building codes, regulatory standards, and statutory compliance.
Excellent space planning, detailing skills, and strong material knowledge.
Ability to independently manage projects and design deliverables under tight timelines.
Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and execution teams.
