Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter patient charges, procedures, and services into the billing system
- Review and verify documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure charges are entered in a timely manner to support prompt billing
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information
- Work closely with coding and billing teams to ensure proper charge capture
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Assist with other revenue cycle tasks as needed
- 10+2 or Bachelor’s degree
- 1–4 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or healthcare administration
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems (EHR/EMR experience a plus)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
