Role Overview
To support the compliance team in operational, monitoring, and coordination activities to the function.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking, logging, and summarizing regulatory circulars and notifications issued by RBI and other applicable regulators, and support maintenance of the Regulatory Change Management database, including tracking of regulatory timelines and milestones.
- Support coordination with internal stakeholders to monitor implementation progress and assist in maintaining documentation and evidences required for regulatory inspections and internal audits.
- Implementing regulatory notifications/circulars and ensuring that business activities are aligned to American Express Company compliance program and local regulations in local market
- Assist AML analysts in reviewing transaction monitoring alerts, supporting AML investigations under supervision, and maintaining case inventories, records, and escalations.
- Support alert and case SLA adherence, timely escalation, and preparation of draft reports and regulatory filing documentation. Tracking the same using various internal tools and creating controls for adherence.
- Provide regular updates to various committees within AEBC
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum academic qualification preferably CA/CS/CAMS/LLB/CIA/MBA. Experience in compliance or legal would be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal or written communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to ensure effective documentation and reporting.
