Role Description The Application Support Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi. This role involves providing day-to-day support for business applications, including monitoring system performance, responding to user queries, and resolving incidents in a timely manner. The specialist will analyze issues, perform root cause investigations, and coordinate with development or infrastructure teams to implement fixes and enhancements. Responsibilities include managing support tickets, documenting solutions and procedures, assisting in application deployments and upgrades, and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes. The role also requires clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring that application-related concerns are addressed professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Application Support skills, including experience with enterprise or SaaS applications and familiarity with incident and request management tools.
  • Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, such as understanding software and system architectures, basic database or log analysis, and configuration management.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose complex issues, identify patterns, and propose effective, sustainable solutions.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant qualifications may include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Beneficial experience includes working in a support role for technology, robotics, AI, or automation products, familiarity with ITIL practices, and comfort with hybrid work environments.
  • Additional strengths such as customer-centric mindset, documentation skills, time management, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies are highly valued.
  • Candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment.
