Job Description
Position Title: Application Support Analyst
Location: Chennai/Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore
Experience range: 3- 6 years
Responsibilities
- Working experience of supporting applications in
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Murex GUI, back-end infrastructure, Murex services, Workflow (pre-trade and post-trade), and batch structure are essential.
- Knowledge of trade, deliverable and event life cycles in Murex.
- Extensive experience with some version of UNIX. Linux preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of clusters is highly desirable.
- Database experience – Sybase ideal but other DB types are acceptable.
- Ability to troubleshoot and think “outside the box” to resolve rarely seen problems.
- Familiarity with the functions and structures of XSL, XML, FIX, MXML.
- Ability to read code is essential. Pearl and shell scripts are used extensively in the customized Murex environment, as well as a small amount of Java.
- Being able to modify existing code or writing your own code is desirable.
- Proven track record of delivering to financial institutions.
- Product knowledge - Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives.
