About The Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Angular, you'll play a crucial role in evolving SwiftRe®, our innovative platform that's revolutionizing facultative reinsurance business through quick, efficient, and user-friendly digital solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Angular components for our cloud-based application
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver innovative features
• Design and implement reusable UI components that meet high security and compliance standards
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues to enhance user experience
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional interfaces
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and standards
  
  

About The Team

You'll be joining the SwiftRe® team, working on an Azure Cloud-based application with a worldwide user base. Our platform is highly integrated into the full value chain of Swiss Re, including core legacy services, and must fulfill high security and compliance standards. We utilize state-of-the-art technology stacks and work in an agile setup where team empowerment is our highest value. You'll work alongside Technical Squad Leads who code, provide technical expertise, and assist with solution design.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Meet These Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, ideally with focus on re-usable component development
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Redux pattern & NgRx
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in UI/UX solution design collaborating with dedicated designers
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Experience with Azure Cloud services
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jasmine or Jest
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Experience working in financial or insurance industries
  
  

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
