Application Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Application Support Engineer / Sr. Engineer to provide end-to-end support for Finance, Accounts, Costing, and Procurement applications , including ERP modules such as SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP Costing, and related enterprise platforms . The role involves ensuring smooth financial and procurement transactions, resolving user issues, supporting audits, handling change requests, and coordinating closely with Finance, Accounts, Commercial, and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of financial accounting, procurement workflows, costing processes, vendor management, GRN-to-Invoice cycles, and compliance requirements , combined with technical troubleshooting skills. ? Hands-on experience supporting SAP FICO, SAP MM, or any ERP Finance/Procurement modules. ? Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, and MIS Reporting. ? Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle including PR, PO, Vendor Management, GRN, Quality Check, and Invoice Posting workflows. ? Knowledge of standard costing, BOM-based costing, production cost capture, material valuation, and cost-sheet preparation. ? Exposure to ERP integration points between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and Production. ? Experience in using ITSM/Incident Management tools such as ServiceNow, Fresh service, or similar. ? Ability to troubleshoot financial closing issues, tax configuration errors, procurement workflow failures, and data discrepancies. ? Experience with reports, dashboards, audits, statutory compliance support, and financial data validation. Regards HR Team MSAF
