Role: Support Engineer

Location: Noida

Experience: 3–6 Years


We are looking for a proactive L2 Application Support Engineer to support business-critical applications in production environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, deployments, and production support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide L2 support for application and production incidents, ensuring timely resolution within SLA.
  • Monitor application health, system performance, and proactively identify issues.
  • Troubleshoot application, database, API, and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
  • Support production deployments, release validations, and rollback activities.
  • Analyze logs and monitor alerts using observability tools.
  • Coordinate with Development, QA, SRE, and Infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities through ticketing systems.
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in on-call and shift support rotations when required.


Required Skills:


  • 3+ years of Application/Production Support experience.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases and query analysis.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Nagios, Splunk, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and application architectures.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, and API troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to scripting using Shell or Python.
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, GLPI, or similar ticketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.


Preferred:

  • Experience in Banking, FinTech, Telecom, or Enterprise Applications.
  • Exposure to AWS or cloud environments.
  • ITIL certification is a plus
