Must have skills : Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Oracle PLSQL Primary), you will design, build, and configure applications and database solutions to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with multiple teams to understand project needs, developing optimized Oracle database solutions, and ensuring applications are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions, mentor team members, and contribute to the overall success of projects by implementing innovative solutions and best practices. Roles & Responsibilities: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle database development, including Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC). Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database schemas and applications. Optimise database performance and ensure data integrity across OLTP and Data Warehouse platforms. Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions seamlessly. Analyse complex legacy code and propose streamlined solutions, including reusable components. Manage and optimise containerised applications using OpenShift. Build and deploy applications using standard build tools (Maven/Gradle) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions). Implement observability and supportability best practices in application design. Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members. Present work effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: 10+ years of experience in Oracle database development, with at least 2 years of production-level exposure to Oracle 19c. Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming, including complex analytics and bulk operations. Deep understanding of Oracle internals (data dictionary, ASH, AWR) and performance tuning beyond pre-canned reports. Familiarity with OLTP and Data Warehouse design principles and tuning approaches. Strong knowledge of advanced Oracle concepts (bind variable peeking, cardinality feedback, histograms, cursor sharing, hard parsing, database waits). Ability to critique database designs and propose optimised solutions. Experience with Liquibase/Flyway for database versioning. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and advanced branching/merging strategies. Awareness of container-based deployment platforms (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes). Scripting skills in Bash/Python/Perl. DevOps mindset with focus on observability and supportability. Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD). Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Orientation towards writing secure, vulnerability-free code. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other database technologies (Postgres, BigQuery). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (SCDs, Fact tables, junk dimensions). Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Splunk, Grafana). Additional Information: Location: Pune (or as per project needs). Minimum 15 years of full-time education required.
