A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design & Build: Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions (Apex, LWC, integrations). - Quality & Delivery: Ensure code quality, testing, and smooth deployments. - Collaboration: Work closely with BAs, architects, and stakeholders to deliver requirements. - Mentorship: Guide junior developers and enforce best practices. - Innovation & Improvement: Leverage new Salesforce features and improve processes. - Support: Handle issues, enhancements, and ensure system stability. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Leadership in Delivery: Ability to take ownership of modules, drive end-to-end delivery, and ensure quality outcomes. - Collaboration: Strong team player, works seamlessly with cross-functional teams (BAs, testers, architects, clients). - Communication: Clear in articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and propose practical solutions. - Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-changing environments, keeping up with Salesforce releases and new technologies. - Mentorship: Guiding and coaching junior developers, setting coding standards, and fostering best practices. - Client Orientation: Strong focus on understanding client needs, ensuring solutions align with business objectives. - Ownership & Accountability: Proactive in taking responsibility for deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution. - Innovation Mindset: Eagerness to explore new features, tools, and ways of working to add business value. - Ethics & Professionalism: Commitment to Accenture?s values?integrity, inclusivity, and excellence. - Core Salesforce Development: Strong in Apex (classes, triggers, batch, schedulers, test classes), SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce. - Declarative Tools: Deep experience with Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Security (profiles/roles/permission sets). - Integration Skills: Hands-on with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.), and external system integration. - Data Management: Experience with data migration, ETL, handling large data volumes, performance optimization. - DevOps & CI/CD: Familiar with source control (Git), branching strategies, deployment tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, SFDX). - Testing & Quality: Ability to write unit tests with high code coverage, perform peer reviews, ensure scalable and compliant solutions. - Release & Environment Management: Experience in sandbox strategy, change sets, unlocked packages, scratch orgs, release planning. - Security & Compliance: Knowledge of Salesforce security model, OWASP secure coding, GDPR/PII handling. - Platform Knowledge: Exposure to Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud (advantage). - Up-to-date Knowledge: Awareness of latest Salesforce releases, Einstein AI/Analytics, Industry Clouds. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Development. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning components. - Strong understanding of application lifecycle management. - Experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems and platforms. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
