Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced API Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain API integrations that connect various platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development, API lifecycle management, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop API integrations for internal and external systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements.
Ensure seamless connectivity between applications through RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and webhooks.
Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in API integrations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of APIs and integration processes.
Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in API development and integration.
Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and microservices architecture.
Experience with API management tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and their integration with APIs.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Understanding of message queuing and event-driven architectures.
