AOSP Engineer

We are seeking a skilled AOSP Engineer with good knowledge of compiling android and fixing hardware issues, experience of working on HAL or Kernel or Framework is a plus. At Primebook, you?ll have the opportunity to work on core parts of PrimeOS that drive our core business, not just side tasks. Important Note - We kindly request that app developers, including those specialise in Kotlin, who have not worked with AOSP refrain from applying, as this role requires specific expertise in AOSP development. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AOSP, Linux Shell Scripting. Must have experience in compiling and debugging of AOSP. Having experience in any of these (HAL, Kernel, Java, Kotlin) is a plus. Excellent analytical and debugging skills are necessary. You should be good in R&D, it is necessary for this role. Experience: You should have worked on at least 1-2 AOSP projects personally or in a company Having some experience in working on android system apps is a plus Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for working within cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. What You?ll Do: Work on the porting of PrimeOS features to newer android versions. Work on system apps and stability of system components. Work on development of PrimeOS new and existing features.
