We blend behavioural science, design, and technology to help users live with intention. Role Overview We?re looking for an Android Developer Intern who?s eager to learn and build real-world Android apps with modern best practices. You?ll work closely with our backend and iOS teams to integrate APIs, design smooth user experiences, and deploy updates to the Play Store. Key Responsibilities Develop new app features and UI screens using Kotlin and XML layouts. Connect the app to our backend APIs (REST/GraphQL) and handle data securely. Implement user authentication, notifications, and local data caching. Assist in testing, debugging, and preparing builds for Play Store release. Collaborate with the design and backend teams to ensure consistent user experience. Job Requirements Strong understanding of Kotlin and Android fundamentals (Activities, Fragments, ViewModel, LiveData). Experience integrating apps with backend APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, or Firebase. Basic understanding of Git and version control. Enthusiasm to learn about app deployment and best practices in Android development. Bonus Points Familiarity with UsageStatsManager, Digital Wellbeing, or Screen Time APIs. Experience with Play Store testing or publishing. Passion for building tools that help people focus and be more mindful.
