Job Description: Android Developer Experience: 3?5 Years Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate Joiner Only Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team and contribute to building high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kotlin , an in-depth understanding of the Android SDK , and familiarity with modern Android libraries and architecture patterns. As an Android Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance new features while ensuring optimal performance, stability, and responsiveness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mobile learning and deliver innovative solutions to millions of users. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern development tools. Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Design teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best development practices. Build and maintain unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability, including edge cases and performance scenarios. Debug and resolve issues related to bugs, crashes, and overall app performance. Implement RESTful API integrations and integrate various third-party SDKs. Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards. Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and recommend improvements in architecture and development processes. Required Skills Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development. Strong understanding of the Android SDK and complete Android development lifecycle (Android Studio, Play Store processes, etc.). Experience with Jetpack libraries, Retrofit, Coroutines, and Room database. Strong grasp of OOP concepts and architectural patterns such as MVI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party SDKs. Familiarity with Git and version control best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude. Bonus Skills (Nice To Have) Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit. Experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development. Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3?5 years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise-grade Android applications. A portfolio of published or personal Android applications is a plus.
