Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have strong Android development experience, expertise in integrating third-party SDKs, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. This role requires someone who can independently drive solutions, build reusable components, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Integrate and manage third-party SDKs and mobile services.
• Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Design and build reusable modules, libraries, and components.
• Document technical solutions, integration processes, and best practices.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay updated with Android platform changes, SDK updates, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture components and app lifecycle.
• Experience with third-party SDK integrations and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking, multithreading, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVI.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, RxJava, or similar frameworks.
• Exposure to backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, logging, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Gradle, and Agile development practices.
• Understanding of mobile UX principles and responsive design.
