About the Role We are seeking a skilled Android Application Developer with hands-on experience in building high-performance mobile and Android TV applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kotlin , Jetpack Components , and MVVM architecture , with proven end-to-end project execution experience in scalable consumer-facing apps (preferably OTT / media streaming platforms). Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Android applications for mobile, Android TV, and Fire TV platforms Work on modern Android architectures including MVVM, Jetpack components, Hilt DI, Coroutines, and Flows Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and media components like ExoPlayer Ensure performance, scalability, and crash-free user experience across devices Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, QA, and Design teams in an Agile environment Contribute to UI/UX development using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, and modular code Work on migration from legacy to modern architecture (when required) Optimize application performance, memory usage, and loading time Required Skills Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Kotlin & Java Hands-on experience with: Android SDK, Jetpack components (Room, ViewModel, LiveData, DataStore, Navigation) Jetpack Compose MVVM & Clean Architecture Hilt (Dependency Injection) Coroutines, Kotlin Flows Retrofit / REST APIs ExoPlayer and OTT streaming experience Experience working with Firebase services Knowledge of SOLID principles & clean coding practices Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines Nice-to-Have Experience with Android TV / Fire TV application development Basics of Spring Boot Familiarity with Design tools ( Figma, Photoshop ) Knowledge of IoT application workflows (bonus) Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 3?5 years of professional Android development experience Published apps or hands-on work on applications with large-scale downloads and high crash-free ratings (preferred) Why Join Us?
