Summary The AI and Data Science Operations team at BSI Insights supports better decision making at Novartis by using data to generate actionable insights and improve performance. We work with international business units to solve complex problems, develop analytical strategies, apply engineering and machine learning methods, and automate processes for efficiency. Our team values collaboration and continuous learning, partnering closely with stakeholders across diverse regions to ensure our solutions align with specific business needs. About The Role Key Responsibilities Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making. Deliver advanced analytics solutions across diverse data science projects. Collaborate with senior associates to enhance project outcomes and innovation. Generate actionable, data-driven recommendations to improve business performance. Drive operational efficiencies by refining existing processes. Apply structured project management with clear documentation and communication. Maintain SOPs and quality checklists to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs. Manage internal stakeholder expectations across marketing analytics and ad-hoc requests. Support targeting, segmentation, predictive modeling, and resource optimization efforts. Explore and integrate generative AI and LLM technologies into analytics workflows. Essential Requirements 1?2 years of experience in data science, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors Strong foundation in statistics, predictive analytics, machine learning, and deep learning Proficiency in Python, R, and PySpark for data analysis and modeling Proven problem-solving skills with a creative approach to complex challenges Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and diverse teams Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field; Master of Science or MBA strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution Desirable Requirements Experience with AI technologies Why Novartis: Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
