Your Role And Responsibilities
Americas Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and recruiting the best talent into IBM. You will be part of a newly
created scrum team working to support all business units across Americas market playing a critical role in the
delivery to fill senior positions.
Along side the scrum team, you’ll partner to aligned client groups, designing creative sourcing strategies to recruit top
talent, and managing the hiring processes from initiating searches through offer acceptance. There is a strong emphasis on
influencing and driving decisions by data.
In addition to recruitment delivery, you will work closely with your local Talent Acquisition (TA) colleagues, i.e. Recruiter,
Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM), Regional Talent Acquisition Leader (RTAL) to support, drive and enable service
transformation.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible on the full life cycle sourcing for the committed requisitions
Lead and participate in Strategic Sourcing Briefing Call to determine sprint commitment and planning sourcing strategy
Accountable for the delivery of sprint commitments including identifying/ resolving obstacles, raises issues as
necessary, and seek continuous improvement
Leverage data from LinkedIn Talent Insights, SmashFly scorecard to deliver on the KPIs
Adopt and utilize AgileTA related tools
Strive to provide best in class candidate and recruitment experience
Develop and maintain (passive) top candidate pipeline and continuously develop new channels of sourcing across various countries.
Adheres to the IBM recruiting process and policies. Building regional knowledge.
Opportunities await to collaborate and co-create with Global TA Strategic Sourcing members from all corners of the globe, while working on exciting
global projects.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proven experience as sourcer or similar role, preferably in information technology fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and tools (e.g., AI, LinkedIn recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, X-Ray search).
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of US work Authorization (W2,1099/ H1B Visa)
- Hands on experience with SAP, Cloud & Oracle skillsets
- 3+ years of experience with US/UK market hiring
- Fluent Portuguese, French or Spanish
