Job Description We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Next.js) to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience in front-end engineering with deep expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, and modern component architectures. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing clean, reusable, and scalable UI components that power multiple applications across our ecosystem. Youll work closely with design, backend, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences that are performant, accessible, and maintainable. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and modular UI components in Next.js + TypeScript to ensure consistency across applications. Collaborate with design teams to translate Figma/mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces. Establish and advocate for coding standards that prioritize clean architecture, maintainability, and testability across projects. Optimize front-end performance for fast load times, smooth rendering, and SEO best practices in server-side rendered and static environments. Build shared component libraries and design systems that can be leveraged across multiple products and teams. Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers to instill best practices in front-end development. Partner with backend engineers to design efficient APIs and ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend. Stay ahead of evolving frameworks, tooling, and best practices in the React/Next.js ecosystem and champion their adoption when appropriate. Requirements Strong expertise in Next.js and TypeScript, with a proven track record of building production-grade applications. Frontend architecture experience with component libraries, design systems, and state management patterns (e.g., React Query, Redux, or Zustand). Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) to ensure reliability and maintainability. Good understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals. Proficiency with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, SCSS, or similar) and responsive design principles. Experience integrating with backend GraphQL APIs and collaborating with backend teams. Exposure to AWS (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS) and PostgreSQL is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate product requirements into elegant technical solutions.
