Job Description

Midas Technologies is seeking motivated Algorithmic Trader-Engineer interns to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to research, implement, and operate intraday trading systems in production environments. Successful completion will lead to full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

Own a venue pod (e.g., index futures, commodities futures, ETF options, etc.)
Operate and monitor production trading systems during market hours
Maintain and improve tools for data analysis
Analyse market data and execution data to explore trading ideas
Design and implement strategy improvements
Test and deploy models and strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
In penultimate or final year of study for internship eligibility
0-2 years of experience in software development or production trading environment
Fluency in Python and C++
Experience with real-world applications of machine learning
Background in one or more of the following areas: computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, or big data analytics
Experience with software development practices, including version control (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with Unix-based operating systems (e.g., Linux) and shell scripting
Good attention to detail
Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Eligible to work in the People’s Republic of China

Compensation And Benefits

Internship stipend starting at 1500 RMB / day, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Meals provided on working days
Relocation assistance if applicable
