Job Description

Cognizant is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Airlines domain mobile testing, specifically within Booking Flow. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience testing mobile applications in airline projects and deep functional knowledge of core airline subdomains such as PSS, DCS, GDS, or Booking Flow.

Exp - 5 to 15 years

Skills - Mandatory experience in Mobile Testing in Airline Project

Location - Bengaluru

RTO - Hybrid

Mode of Interview - Internal and Client round along with F2F discussion

Notice Period - Immediate to 30 days

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Airlines domain
Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Airlines project mandatory)
Strong experience in Booking Flow testing (Mandatory)
Experience in at least one of the following airline subdomains:

Passenger Service Systems (PSS)
Departure Control Systems (DCS)
Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
Booking Flow (Mandatory)

Experience in functional and end-to-end testing of airline mobile applications
Strong understanding of airline reservation lifecycle

Technical Skills

Understanding of airline system integrations
Mobile testing (Android/iOS)
Test case design & execution
Regression & integration testing
API validation (preferred)
Defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)

Exclusions

The Following Profiles Will Not Be Considered

Experience limited to Crew, Cargo, or Airport Operations
Business Analysts
Quality Analysts without hands-on testing experience
Candidates without Booking Flow testing exposure

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end testing of airline mobile applications
Validate complete booking lifecycle including search, selection, payment, and confirmation
Execute regression and integration testing
Identify and report defects with detailed documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release quality
Support UAT and production validation where required
