Job Summary Synechron is seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that drive data-informed decisions and innovative solutions. In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end AI applications. Your contributions will support the organization?s strategic initiatives around automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent system integration, providing value through scalable and robust AI/ML solutions. Software Requirements Required Software Skills: Python (version 3.7+), with experience in developing machine learning applications TensorFlow or PyTorch (basic proficiency) Data manipulation libraries: Pandas, NumPy Version control: Git Cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for training and deployment REST API development for model integration Model deployment tools and frameworks (e.g., Docker) Preferred Software Skills: Cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI) NLP frameworks and techniques Additional Python libraries for deep learning and NLP (e.g., transformers) Overall Responsibilities Design, develop, validate, and optimize machine learning models suited for predictive analytics and automation. Prepare and preprocess large datasets, performing feature engineering to enhance model performance. Deploy models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with applications via REST APIs. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and accurate AI-driven solutions. Utilize cloud platforms for model training, tuning, and deployment, ensuring performance efficiency. Document workflows, maintain version control, and reproduce experiments for ongoing model refinement. Stay informed of emerging AI/ML techniques and incorporate innovations into project pipelines. Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages: Required: Python (3.7+), with experience in ML libraries Preferred: Additional experience with R or Scala Databases and Data Management: Experience with data preprocessing tools: Pandas, NumPy Understanding of data storage/storage options for large datasets Cloud Technologies: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP for ML model training and deployment Familiarity with cloud storage, compute, and security practices Frameworks and Libraries: TensorFlow or PyTorch (basic proficiency) NLP frameworks (preferred): Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy Development Tools and Methodologies: Version control: Git Containerization: Docker Working within Agile teams, using CI/CD pipelines for model deployment Security Protocols: Basic understanding of secure deployment practices and data privacy regulations Experience Requirements Minimum of 3?12 years of experience in AI/ML model development and deployment Proven exposure to building and operationalizing machine learning solutions Experience working on predictive analytics, automation, or NLP projects Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or technology sectors preferred Equivalent practical experience or project-based work also acceptable Day-to-Day Activities Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to interpret business needs into technical solutions Develop and prototype machine learning models, tuning hyperparameters for optimal results Prepare datasets through cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering Integrate deployed models into applications via REST APIs Monitor model performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize models in production Document processes and adhere to version control best practices Engage in regular team meetings, project planning, and code reviews Conduct research on emerging AI/ML techniques to identify applicable innovations Contribute to creating scalable, maintainable, and reproducible AI workflows Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; Master?s preferred Certification or training in machine learning or cloud AI services is a plus Proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments Strong understanding of data privacy and security standards Professional Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Effective communicator capable of articulating technical concepts clearly Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Self-motivated learner, staying updated with current AI/ML research and tools Results-oriented with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions Adaptability to evolving project scopes and new technologies Strategic thinking for designing innovative AI/ML solutions aligned with business goals S YNECHRON?S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
