AI/ML Engineer

Role Description As an AI/ML Engineer at BillCut, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that improve debt management and credit optimization products. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and refining algorithms, implementing and training neural network models, and analyzing large datasets to identify actionable patterns that enhance product performance. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, monitor model performance in production, and continuously iterate based on experimental results and user feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with the ability to design efficient, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world AI/ML applications.
• Solid understanding of Statistics and quantitative methods to build, evaluate, and interpret models.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in ML (e.g., Python, Java) and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, and model deployment in production environments.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document work thoroughly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in fintech, credit risk, or financial analytics is beneficial but not mandatory.
