About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AI Training Specialist to help improve the performance, accuracy, and reliability of AI and Generative AI systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AI training workflows, prompt engineering, data annotation, AI evaluation, content quality review, or related operational processes.

You will be responsible for training and improving AI models through structured human feedback, dataset creation, prompt optimization, and quality evaluation while collaborating closely with AI, product, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

AI Training & Model Improvement

• Train AI models by providing structured feedback on generated outputs.
• Create, review, and refine training datasets to improve model performance.
• Develop examples, instructions, and training scenarios for AI learning.
• Support model fine-tuning initiatives through human-in-the-loop feedback processes.
• Help improve response accuracy, reasoning, and instruction-following capabilities.

Prompt Engineering

• Design, test, and optimize prompts for various business use cases.
• Create reusable prompt templates and prompt libraries.
• Evaluate prompt effectiveness and continuously improve outcomes.
• Experiment with prompting strategies to enhance AI performance.

AI Evaluation & Quality Assurance

• Review AI-generated content for accuracy, relevance, safety, and consistency.
• Identify hallucinations, factual errors, biases, and quality issues.
• Rate AI responses based on predefined evaluation guidelines.
• Participate in calibration sessions to ensure evaluation consistency.

Data Annotation & Validation

• Label, classify, and validate training data across text, image, or conversational datasets.
• Review annotation quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in training data.
• Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements.

Research & Analysis

• Analyze AI performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Research emerging AI training methodologies and industry best practices.
• Assist in developing evaluation frameworks and quality benchmarks.
• Document findings and contribute to continuous learning initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of training activities, evaluations, and findings.
• Create reports on model performance, quality metrics, and improvement recommendations.
• Document training processes, guidelines, and best practices.
• Support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with AI researchers, product managers, engineers, and operations teams.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on training and evaluation results.
• Support the launch and optimization of AI-powered products and features.
• Participate in team reviews, workshops, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience in AI Training, AI Evaluation, Data Annotation, Content Quality, AI Operations, Quality Assurance, Research, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI training workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Experience reviewing and improving content quality.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and maintain consistency.
• Experience working independently in a remote environment.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
• Experience with prompt engineering and prompt optimization.
• Familiarity with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback).
• Knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks and quality scoring methodologies.
• Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or data analysis tools.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and AI model development.
