As AI-powered search and recommendation systems become increasingly important to how customers discover brands, Dopest.io is building new research capabilities around visibility within large language models and AI agents.

As an AI Search Researcher at Dopest.io, you will help investigate how large language models, AI assistants, and autonomous agents discover, evaluate, surface, and recommend brands.

You will design and run structured experiments across platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging AI search experiences. Your work will involve developing repeatable testing methodologies, creating prompt sets, collecting and analyzing outputs, identifying recommendation patterns, and evaluating the factors that influence brand visibility within AI-generated responses.

You will collaborate remotely with the growth and strategy teams to translate research findings into practical insights for clients. This may include examining how brand authority, online content, third-party mentions, structured data, positioning, and other signals affect whether and how a company appears in AI-generated recommendations.

• Design and conduct structured experiments on how AI agents and large language models surface, compare, and recommend brands.
• Develop repeatable research methodologies, prompt libraries, evaluation criteria, and testing frameworks.
• Collect, organize, and analyze model outputs across multiple AI platforms and use cases.
• Identify patterns, inconsistencies, biases, and variables that may influence AI-generated recommendations.
• Compare results across models, prompts, geographies, user intents, and different stages of the customer journey.
• Research emerging developments in generative search, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and large language model behavior.
• Document experimental methods, findings, limitations, and recommendations in clear research reports.
• Translate technical findings into practical and commercially relevant insights for growth teams and clients.
• Support the development of internal tools, datasets, dashboards, or automated workflows for monitoring brand visibility in AI search.

• Currently completing the final year of a relevant degree, or recently graduated, in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, data science, information retrieval, computational linguistics, cognitive science, or a related research-oriented field.
• Strong interest in large language models, generative AI, AI agents, search systems, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with research methods, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and structured data collection.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative outputs and identify meaningful patterns.
• Basic proficiency in Python or another language used for data collection, experimentation, or analysis.
• Familiarity with APIs, spreadsheets, notebooks, or data analysis tools is beneficial.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working with ambiguous or rapidly evolving subject matter.
• Ability to work independently, manage experiments, and collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team.
• Previous academic research, independent projects, coursework, or a portfolio related to LLMs, search, NLP, machine learning, or AI evaluation is beneficial.
