You?ll work across research, product, and strategy to architect next-generation AI models and systems that prioritize fairness, accountability, and transparency. What You?ll Do ? Research and develop novel AI models focused on ethics, bias mitigation, and equity-aware algorithms?? ? Evaluate existing ML/AI models for fairness, accuracy, and interpretability?? ? Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to bring research to life in product features?? ? Lead internal efforts around Responsible AI practices and publications?? ? Write research papers, white papers, or patents that contribute to both academia and industry?? ? Prototype innovative AI tools for language, vision, or decision-making tasks?? ? Stay current on trends in LLMs, generative AI, explainable AI (XAI), and socially-aware ML?? Who You Are ? You?re deeply passionate about tech for good and applying AI to real-world inequality?? ? You have experience publishing or presenting research (academic or industry)?? ? You?re confident working with language models (LLMs), deep learning, or statistical methods?? ? You?re deeply curious and always seeking answers others overlook?? ? You thrive in start-up or fast-paced environments with autonomy and ownership Qualifications ? Master?s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)?? ? Proven experience in applied machine learning and AI research?? ? Experience with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers?? ? Strong understanding of algorithmic fairness, ethics in AI, or human-centered ML?? ? Excellent communication skills ? written and verbal Bonus Points For: ? Experience working with underrepresented communities or social impact tech?? ? Publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, etc.)?? ? Prior work in explainable AI (XAI) or human-AI collaboration?? ? Knowledge of causal inference, RLHF, or fairness-aware ML??
