The Role

We are looking for exceptional AI Engineers to help advance the state of the art in intelligent systems.

You will work across research and engineering—investigating new approaches, building prototypes, running experiments, and developing scalable systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy tackling difficult technical problems and turning ideas into working systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build agentic AI and multi-agent systems
• Develop evaluation, benchmarking, and experimentation frameworks
• Build AI infrastructure, tools, and research platforms
• Explore new approaches to reasoning, planning, memory, and tool use
• Contribute to open-source projects, frameworks, and standards
• Publish technical findings, benchmarks, and reference implementations
• Collaborate with researchers, developers, and the global AI open-source community
• Present technical work at meetups, workshops, conferences, and community events
• Represent Xfusion Singapore Open Lab through talks, demos, and technical advocacy

What We’re Looking For

• Strong software engineering and computer science fundamentals
• Strong Python and Go programming skills
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and LLMs
• Experience building AI, distributed, or large-scale systems
• Strong experimental and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently on open-ended technical challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic AI, RAG, evaluation, or model serving
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or GPUs
• Open-source contributions or project maintainership
• Research publications, technical writing, conference talks, or community leadership
