Core FastAPI Development Location: Bengaluru / Mumbai Job Type :: Fulltime Experience: 4?8 Years Work Mode: Hybrid Shift Timing: 2nd Shift Position Overview We are seeking a talented Generative AI Engineer with strong expertise in FastAPI development to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy scalable backend systems powering next-generation generative AI applications. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions at scale. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python and FastAPI . Build and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs for AI-powered services. Implement prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and embedding techniques to improve model performance. Integrate and manage vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB) for efficient AI data retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model and API deployment. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend & AI systems for performance and scalability. Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and backend technologies . Document APIs, workflows, and system architecture for knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of backend development experience with Python & FastAPI. Proven experience in deploying Generative AI models (LLMs, GANs, VAEs) in production. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG pipelines . Experience integrating AI models with RESTful APIs (authentication & authorization). Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and containerized deployments. Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for large-scale AI deployments. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
