Job Description

You will build the AI operating system for financial modeling, creating a "Cursor for Excel" that automates complex decision-making workflows. Working in a high-intensity team of ex-Jane Street and Cambridge engineers, you will own the development of intelligent agents, fine-tuning pipelines, and context optimization to redefine a $100B category.

What You Will Do

• Build and optimize sophisticated AI agents using MCP, custom tools, and advanced context management to handle complex financial logic.
• Own the full AI lifecycle including evaluation pipelines, data collection, Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), and Reinforcement Learning (RL).
• Rapidly ship high-quality features using modern AI-assisted workflows while collaborating with world-class designers to ensure a beautiful user experience.
  
  

The ideal candidate

• Top-centile engineer with deep experience building autonomous agents and a mastery of the modern AI tooling landscape like Claude Code and Cursor.
• Strong technical foundation in TypeScript and Rust, preferably with a background in competitive programming, high-frequency trading, or big tech.
• High-agency builder who thrives in a 5-day on-site environment and is determined to solve the "worst-tooled" form of programming in the world.
