Role Description

1. This is a full-time, on-site AI Developer role based in Kolkata.
2. The AI Developer will design, implement, and maintain AI-driven applications and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. The role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, performing testing and performance tuning, and contributing to solution architecture for client projects.
4. The AI Developer will also stay current with emerging AI technologies and frameworks, helping to enhance Centreax Technologies’ product engineering and consulting offerings.

Qualifications

1. Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Engineering, with deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, distributed systems, and enterprise application architecture.
2. Hands-on experience in designing and developing Agentic AI applications using Microsoft Semantic Kernel, including AI orchestration, planners, plugins, memory, skills, function calling, and multi-agent workflows.
3. Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool use, AI reasoning, and autonomous task execution.
4. Experience integrating Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar foundation models with enterprise applications using Semantic Kernel.
5. Practical experience building AI copilots, intelligent assistants, workflow automation, or AI-driven business process solutions.
6. Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise platforms or other business applications.
7. Knowledge of AI frameworks and orchestration libraries such as Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent is highly desirable.
8. Experience with AI agents, multi-agent collaboration, planning frameworks, memory management, context engineering, and autonomous decision-making.
9. Familiarity with Azure cloud services including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.
10. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven enterprise solutions.
11. Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams, and engage directly with enterprise clients throughout solution design and implementation.
