Your Opportunity

As an AI Chatbot Developer on BeGig, you’ll work on freelance projects focused on building intelligent conversational AI solutions for customer support, sales, internal operations, and business automation. You’ll help organizations deliver engaging, context-aware, and scalable chatbot experiences powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI technologies—without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants
• Build conversational workflows using LLMs, NLP, and Generative AI technologies
• Develop RAG-based chatbots integrated with enterprise knowledge bases and vector databases
• Integrate chatbots with websites, mobile apps, CRMs, messaging platforms, and APIs
• Implement prompt engineering, conversation memory, and context management strategies
• Optimize chatbot accuracy, latency, and user experience
• Implement guardrails, monitoring, evaluation, and analytics for chatbot performance
• Troubleshoot, test, and continuously improve conversational AI systems
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver production-ready chatbot solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in AI chatbot development and conversational AI
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure OpenAI, or open-source LLMs
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Rasa, Botpress, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or similar frameworks
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, RAG, and semantic search
• Knowledge of REST APIs, cloud platforms, and chatbot deployment workflows
• Understanding of NLP, prompt engineering, AI evaluation, and conversation design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A self-driven freelancer who can independently build and deploy intelligent chatbot solutions
