AI Backend Engineer (Dev 3/ Dev 4) | US-HQ'd Prop-Tech | HYD

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for a global PropTech SaaS platform.
• Build and optimize AI systems using LLM application design, multi-agent workflows, tool/function calling, RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic retrieval techniques.
• Develop scalable cloud-native AI platforms using Python and TypeScript/JavaScript across AWS, GCP, or Azure environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Drive end-to-end AI platform strategy including model selection, orchestration frameworks, observability, evaluation standards, governance, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor AI/ML engineering teams through architectural guidance, code reviews, technical leadership, and best practices for production-grade AI systems.
• Partner with product, business, and leadership stakeholders to define AI roadmaps, identify high-impact use cases, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Implement AI observability and evaluation frameworks using tools such as LangSmith/OpenAI Evals, including monitoring, logging, prompt/version management, and responsible AI practices.
• Work with advanced AI ecosystem tools and frameworks including LangGraph, Agents SDK, Kafka/event streaming, multimodal agents, coding assistants (Cursor, Windsurf, Codex), and browser automation tools like Playwright.
• Strong experience as an AI-focused backend engineer with 5-13 years of overall experience (roles open across multiple seniority levels), including building production-grade distributed systems.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Generative AI and Agentic AI systems, including LLM application design, multi-agent workflows, tool/function calling, RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic retrieval.
• Proven ability to design and scale cloud-native AI backend platforms using Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with strong experience in AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated track record of shipping robust AI systems to production with focus on reliability, scalability, observability, evaluation, governance, and cost/performance optimization.
• Strong technical leadership and collaboration skills with experience mentoring engineers, driving AI architecture decisions, and working closely with product and business teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.
